Come early and dive into a spot along Park Boulevard to catch this year’s parade. The parade steps off at 6:00 p.m. at 58th Street (railroad tracks) and proceeds eastbound on Park Boulevard to The Shoppes at Park Place. The parade route is completely closed no later than 4:00 p.m., but to be safe, we invite you to bring out your lawn chairs and blankets starting at 4:30 pm!
Safety is a major priority to us. There will be “French” barricades along a majority of the parade route. These are the barricades that resemble interlocking bicycle racks. The barricades interlock in such a way that results in limited access to the spectating area from the north side of Park Boulevard. There will be access points at most cross streets along the route. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, but our parade has a perfect safety record when it comes to incidents involving participants and spectators and we would like to keep it that way.
Handicapped Seating is available at Taylor Family Funeral Home located at 5300 Park Boulevard. The seating area is only accessible from 53rd Street via 70th Avenue. Featuring bands, floats, soldiers, dancers, equestrian groups and much, much more!
