ORLANDO, Fla —The first Wahlburgers location in Central Florida is set to open Monday.

The burger chain, founded by Paul Wahlberg and his celebrity brothers Mark and Donnie Wahlberg, will open at the corner of Church Street and Orange Avenue in downtown Orlando at 4 p.m. Monday, according to a representative of the restaurant.

The 6,000 square-foot restaurant and bar, known for its fresh-made burgers, hot dogs, fries and tater tots, is in the space formerly occupied by Simply Puur.

Wahlburgers Orlando will host a VIP opening event on Thursday. Mark and Paul Wahlberg are scheduled to attend. Donnie Wahlberg, who appears on CBS’ “Blue Bloods,” may also be in attendance, depending on his production schedule.

During the VIP event, the Wahlberg brothers will host a concert on Church Street from 7 p.m to midnight. The restaurant will not be open to the public during that time.

The Orlando location will have a Central Florida-themed cocktail called the Orlando Dreamsicle, a frappe made with vanilla vodka, triple sec, orange juice and ice cream.

Wahlburgers opened its first location in Hingham, Massachusetts., about 15 miles southeast of Boston in 2011. The opening of the first restaurant was the subject of the A&E Reality show by the same name.
